[交流] Macquarie University 博士招生 (CSC-MQ PhD scholarship application)

Dr. Yuling Wang now invites applications for full-time PhD student positions in the project of "Towards point-of-care diagnostics with rationally designed multifunctional nanomaterials".

The project is open to students with background or interests in biochemistry, biotechnology and nanotechnology, or related disciplines.

Application closing Date:
      31 January, 2018 for CSC

Successful applicants will receive a stipend from the CSC, along with funding for an airfare and visa costs, while Macquarie University will provide a matching tuition fee scholarship of up to 36 months and a top-up of the CSC stipend to at least the current Research Training Program
Award rate (for 2017 this is valued at AU$26,682 per year, is tax free and indexed annually).

Applicants must be Chinese citizens and must either:

1. Have completed a Chinese Academic Master (or be completing one in 2018) and be seeking entry into a PhD at Macquarie. These students will be eligible for up to 48 months scholarship.
2. Alternatively, be currently enrolled in a Chinese PhD program and be seeking to co-enrol in a PhD at Macquarie under a jointly supervised 'cotutelle’PhD agreement. These students will be eligible for up to 24 months scholarship.
3. Applicants must meet Macquarie University’s criteria for PhD admission and scholarship,  including English proficiency requirements.
