南方科技大学 环境工程学院 中组部“青千”Luke Gibson课题组诚聘研究助理教授 一、职位类别：研究助理教授 二、研究范围 （1）（东亚-澳大拉西亚）鸟类迁徙路径及其对气候变化和土地使用变化的影响 （2）野生动物贸易对其目标动物群的影响和对被狩猎生态系统造成的连锁反应 （3）中国在热带地区和国家（东南亚，非洲，拉丁美洲等）对基础设施发展的投资以及其关联到对生物多样性的影响。 三、工作要求：全职，三年合同制，尽早可能在2018年初开始（最迟不过三月份）；可以居住于深圳。 四、岗位待遇：年薪250，000人民币；五险一金，相关人才补贴等 五、学校地点：5号线塘朗地铁站。 六、学历要求： （1）博士； （2）至少一年或以上博士后经验； （3）曾在高知名度期刊上发表过多篇作品。 七、任职者将获得充足资金支持投身研究，（具体细节面议）；任职期内，希望可以继续发表多篇优质作品，目标期刊列表请参考：https://www.primarilyforests.com/target-journals 八、有意者请将英文应聘材料（Cover letter中简述对该岗位的研究计划，简历应包括完整著作列表，以及联系信息）发送至biodiversity@sustc.edu.cn 九、入围者将被通知。 Job: Research Assistant Professor in biodiversity conservation in Shenzhen, China A research assistant professor (RAP) position is available at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), a new university in Shenzhen, China. The RAP will be working with Associate Professor Luke Gibson in the School of Environmental Science and Engineering. Preference will be given to candidates who propose research in the following areas: (1) bird migration patterns along the East Asian-Australasian Flyway and responses to climate change and land-use change; (2) wildlife trade and impacts on targeted animal populations and cascading impacts in poached ecosystems; (3) China’s investment in infrastructure development in tropical countries (e.g., Southeast Asia, Africa, Latin America) and associated impacts on biodiversity. The RAP will be hired on a 3-year contract and must start in early 2018 (not later than March 2018). Salary is 250,000 RMB per year. The RAP will be living in Shenzhen, the first Special Economic Zone of China immediately across the border from Hong Kong which has been described as the “Silicon Valley of China”. The quiet and green campus of SUSTech is located in Tanglang, surrounded by fruit plantations, reservoirs, and forested hills.
