Improved SAPO catalyst for MTO process The attrition resistance of SAPO catalysts for the MTO process is improved if, in the manufacture of the catalyst, the slurry is over-flocculated with an acid phosphate. Whether the improvement is actually due to the state of flocculation (which is claimed), or to the added phosphate, is unclear.
