Postdoctoral researcher position in Cancer immunology / Pharmacology & toxicology A postdoctoral researcher position is available immediately in the drug development & delivery program between Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine and NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of California, Davis. The position offers competitive salary and benefits as per NIH guidelines. The program is funded by multiple NIH grants aiming to develop new drugs and multifunctional nanomedicine platforms for better treatment and diagnosis of cancer. For this position the candidate will be involved in projects on the development of new drugs and nanomedicines for cancer stem cell and cancer immunotherapy, and translation of these new inventions from bench development to bedside. The applicants should have a recent Ph.D and strong expertise at least one of the following fields: 1. Cancer Immunology, 2. Cancer Biology, 3. Pharmacology and Toxicology. The candidates with extensive hand-on experiences in animal studies are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidates will have the opportunities to work with world renowned experts in cancer nanotechnology, drug development, immunology and molecular imaging, and the access to state-of-the-art facility and services.
