美国科罗拉多州立大学招收环境工程全奖研究生（2018秋季入学） 已有1人参与

TOEFL 分数≥90 (internet-based) （或IELTS分数≥7.0），GRE verbal分数≥150。 4. 对学术研究有强烈的兴趣 。 仝铁铮博士2015年获美国西北大学(Northwestern University)土木与环境工程博士学位，师从Kimberly Gray和Jean-François Gaillard教授。此后在美国耶鲁大学(Yale University)从事博士后工作，与膜领域国际权威Menachem Elimelech院士合作，参与美国纳米技术水处理工程研究中心(Nanosystems Engineering Research Center for Nanotechnology-Enabled Water Treatment, NEWT)多项研究工作。目前共发表论文23篇，包括Environmental Science & Technology (7篇)，Water Research，以及Biosensor & Bioelectronics等杂志。仝铁铮博士于2012年获得美国化学学会优秀研究生奖学金、2013年获得美国土木工程协会环境与水资源研究生奖学金以及可持续纳米技术协会优秀研究生奖学金、2015年获得国家自费留学生奖学金， 并且担任ACS Nano, Environmental Science & Technology, Desalination等10余种期刊的独立审稿人。 English version The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Colorado State University (CSU) is currently seeking 1-2 graduate research assistants (Ph.D. students are preferred, although M.S. students are considered) to start in Fall 2018. The students will have the opportunity of working on developing novel membrane materials and processes for sustainable water supply at the water-energy-health nexus. The students are expected to perform interdisciplinary research at the interface of membrane science, material science, environmental chemistry, and nanotechnology, in order to improve the cost and energy efficiencies of membrane-based desalination and wastewater treatment processes. The ideal candidates are expected to have a B.S. degree (M.S. degree preferred) in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, or closely related fields. Previous research experiences on membrane materials, membrane processes, as well as nanotechnology will be favorable. In addition, excellent writing and verbal communication skills will be highly valued in the application review process. Bio: Dr. Tiezheng Tong came to CSU after completing a postdoc position in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at Yale University with Prof. Menachem Elimelech. He received his Ph.D. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Northwestern University. Prior to his Ph.D. study, he graduated from Beijing Normal University (with the highest honor) and Tsinghua University with B.S. and M.S. degrees, respectively. He is the leading author or co-author of 23 peer-reviewed journal articles, many of which have been published on high-impact journals such as Environmental Science & Technology and Water Research. He is also the recipient of several academic and professional awards, including the Environmental Chemistry Graduate Student Award from American Chemistry Society, Environmental & Water Resources Institute (EWRI) Student Scholarship Award from Illinois Section of American Society of Civil Engineers, a student award from Sustainable Nanotechnology Organization (SNO), and the prestigious Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Student Abroad. |
