POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN ORGANIC ELECTRONICS INSTITUTION: Lodz University of Technology, Faculty of Chemistry, Department of Molecular Physics CITY: Lodz, Poland POSITION: research assistant (post doc), full time employment Expected employment from 01 December 2017 to 30 November 2019 (24 months), the full – time contract. Possibility of prolonged employment or realization of other grants in the field of organic electronics. The remuneration in the project is 5400 PLN * gross per month. The employee will get additional annual remuneration - the so called thirteenth salary. * This amount includes the apprenticeship allowance. DISCIPLINE: Chemistry, Physics POSTED: 17.10.2017 EXPIRES: 09.11.2017 WEBSITE: www.kfm.p.lodz.pl KEY WORDS: graphene, organic electronics, organic light emitting diodes (OLED) DESCRIPTION (field, expectations, comments): Scientific field: The employee will be engaged in scientific work in the frame of the project OPUS granted by NCN “Graphene-transition metal oxide hybride structure: synthesis and application as anode and cathode in organic light emitting diodes” Post-doc will be responsible for: fabrication of simplified OLED and characterization of its work parameters fabrication of multilayer junctions with graphene layers for physical and electrical investigations fabrication and characterization of junctions: graphene-transition metal oxide – organic semiconductor Expectations: a PhD degree in chemistry, physics or related field scientific achievements (the most desirable are in the field of organic electronics or opto- electronics) fluency in English (writing and speaking) Desirable achievements and additional skills: experience in design of organic electronic devices and its characterization (including impedance spectroscopy methods) experience in vacuum deposition techniques of thin organic layers working experience in a clean room environment working experience in an inert atmosphere (glovebox system) ability to interpret electrical responses of organic electronic devices experience in AFM microscopy knowledge of measurements techniques such as calcium test (optical and electrical methods) working experience with graphene, knowledge of graphene functionalization techniques and imaging of graphene layers ability to work in a group independence and ability to make decisions openness to new ideas, ability to learn fast willingness to devote yourself to scientific research Required documents: 1.Application for employment addressed to the Rector of the Lodz University of Technolgy. 2.Scientific CV. 3.Personal questionnaire. 4.A copy of documents confirming acquired qualifications and skills. 5.Statement by the candidate that Lodz University of Technology will be the primary place of employment.
