EST期刊关于Viewpoint投稿结果，编辑说了一大堆

最近老板让投一篇EST的viewpoint文章，经过历时5个月的反复修改，终于还是被老板给否定了。最后他自己改了一个最终版，直接让拿去翻译、润色、投稿。投稿后大概有半个月，就被主编给拒了，拒的很委婉，但是拒的让人有些摸不着头脑，求大虾解释一下。 Thank you for submitting a Viewpoint article for consideration by Environmental Science & Technology (ES&T). I have screened your submission and regret to inform you that it cannot be considered further for publication. ES&T receives more submissions than we are able to publish. Therefore, we are very selective when evaluating Viewpoints. As a result, Viewpoint articles that do not meet our standards for fit with respect to the interests of our readers, quality of the presentation, or articulation of the scientific basis for the proffered point of view cannot be published. As explained in our author guidelines, Viewpoint articles are short manuscripts in the style of an op-ed piece, and they provide authors with a venue to comment on an issue of pressing importance to our readership. They should be neither wholly political nor summary in nature. Indeed, now more than ever, we are focusing on Viewpoint articles that express an opinion of a clear scientific nature, based on rigorous scientific research in an environmental discipline. If you would like to better understand our policies, please read the Viewpoint articles in several recent issues of ES&T. 其实这种拒绝真的很常见，都是说因为我们收到的文章很多，然后我们不能全部发表，所以只能优中选优，但是你的文章没有特别能吸引到读者的地方，希望你能加油，等等，，，，一种方面可能是因为在同一时期他可能收到的相似文章有好几篇，其它的质量较好，还有一种就是你的研究可能在他认为来看很过时。。。 发自小木虫Android客户端 |
