[求助] 请问有哪位前辈投稿时被要求过Virtual Microscope feature吗？已有1人参与

各位前辈好！我的文章中有一些使用透射电镜观察细胞内部改变的图片，所以编辑在revision的邮件中给我这么一段话：
We would also like to make you aware that we have introduced "the Virtual Microscope" in Experimental Cell Research, an exciting new feature that enables authors to add detailed slide images to their papers and enables users to view the slides at their highest resolution. We would encourage you to use this feature for images where ultra-high resolution would be beneficial. If your paper contains microscopic images I invite you to use this Virtual Microscope feature for your paper. To use this feature in your paper, please contact virtualmicroscope@elsevier.com. In your email, please include Manuscript reference number and the title of the article.
请问下各位前辈投稿时有没有接收过这样的信息？是必要还是只是建议？我修改文章发回是否需要弄这个？不照着做会不会关系到文章的接收？那个网页的说明我看了之后还是一头雾水，希望前辈们能指点一二，多谢！
