a trip to the Europe
I travelled to the Europe during the last weeks from 30th Sep to 12th Oct. From Australia to Spain, 20h plus fly with a time difference at 6h, the striking and parading people in Barcelona made the journey even more tiring. Not only in Spain, people in the other countries of Europe were also busy striking. Unfortunately, I didn't miss any of the strikings happened in Spain, Belgium and France during the last few weeks. Surprised and vanquished by the great design of the Sagrada Familia in Barca and the super beauty of Mona Lisa in Museum Lourve, there should be nothing to complain about, though the frequently happenning striking made it inconvenient to travel around by public transportaions. However, i failed to find any morden stuff that worthes praising in such so called developed countries including Spain and France. Unlike in China, you can see high-teches everywhere and everything surrounding you are developing surprisingly fast. But the majority of people there in the Europe are satisfied with their current lives without smart phone pay and highly developed online shopping system. In reality, they are not so open to some new changes. They are more worried with questions like-what if you lost your phone? that is very unsafety, HEHE....... The French are even more "clowny" as they are now still very arrogant and seems like there country is how developed with dirty streets and pissy smell everywhere all around Paris, and they feel so proud because they speak French and don't speak English. OMG. There are more to complain about in terms of the safety and their conservative thought but i would also say-anyway, the buildings there deserve a tour, very identical and beautiful. I think you may clearly feel how the Europes thought of the old China at Qing Dynasty (houndreds of years) ago if you travel from a developed city of China to the Europe now. Especially the offensive thought of them in language and culture. This might partially explain why they are decaying. Anyway, best wishes to all. |

A travel journalist who left France at a young age returned home to make a 20-minute program on her home country A cab driver took her and her TV crew on a "scenic" ride through Paris, prompting her to ask in fluent French and on camera : "Why take us through all these side streets when you could have turned __ on to __ Street three lights ago ??" Evil and disgrace are easy to spot because we're all taught as kids to "Pick out the one that's different" Discrimination breeds intolerance, making it hard to enjoy trips when one's constantly distracted Another quick story and a question: Back when health care reform was hotly debated in the US, a group of 30-something Danes were asked why they're all so willing to pay high taxes The answer: "College was free for us and we want college to be free for our kids and grandkids" This empathy for one's fellowmen is quite European... unless some Chinese-born scientists can be said to be equally empathetic when they told reporters "We are communists first and scientists second" This forum's robot might censor me for typing and you for responding candidly to the question above... but it's worth mentioning |
