PhD/Master positions at Simon Fraser University, Canada

Prof. Jie Liang's group at Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada, has several openings for PhD/Master students. Prof. Liang is also the President of a startup company, AltumView (www.altumview.com ), with 20 R&D engineers (half are PhDs). His research includes image and video coding, deep learning, and computer vision. Scholarships will be provided. In addition, students will have chances to work at AltumView during the studies. The company is working on various latest deep learning-based intelligent vision products. SFU's English requirement is: TOEFL: 93 with minimum of 20 in each category IELTS: overall band score of 7.0 of the academic (NOT general) test with a minimum of 6.5 in each section Contact Information: jiel@sfu.ca www.sfu.ca/~jiel |
