Postdoctoral Research Opportunities at Indiana University, Bloomington

Prof. Yan Yu Lab at Indiana University, Bloomington, is taking applications for two postdoctoral research positions. Position 1: The successful applicant will develop quantitative tools for measuring cell signaling and material-cell interactions. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in biophysics, chemistry, biochemistry, or any related discipline. Research experience in single particle/molecule tracking is required. Research experience in endosome imaging, cell manipulation techniques (optical, magnetic, etc.), or quantitative cell imaging techniques is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and first-author publications on related topics in peer-reviewed journals are required. Position 2: The successful applicant will study endosome signaling in immune cells. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in biochemistry, immunology, biophysics, or any related discipline. Research experience in endocytosis and cell signaling is required. A strong background in immunology and quantitative biophysical techniques is strongly desirable. Excellent communication skills and first-author publications on related topics in peer-reviewed journals are required. The initial appointment for both positions will be for 12 months. Additional 12-month extension will be available based on performance and/or availability of funds.
