Criteria for publication To be published in Communications Physics a paper should meet several general criteria: The results are novel (we do not consider abstracts and internet preprints to compromise novelty) The paper provides strong evidence for its conclusions The data are technically sound The manuscript is important to scientists in the specific sub-field of physics. In general, to be acceptable, a paper should represent an advance in understanding which may influence thinking in the field. 好像没用 significant XXX 这样的词，难道定位也不高？ |

应该是在NC和SR之间，截留NC掉下来的部分文章 跟Nature子刊的要求相比要容易是肯定的（https://www.nature.com/commsphys/about） Communications Biology complements the other Nature Research journals by providing a new open access option for biologists while applying less stringent criteria for impact and significance than the Nature-branded journals, including Nature Communications. 但质量一定也不低： Communications Biology, Communications Chemistry and Communications Physics are a family of broad scope open access journals. To be considered for publication papers should show a significant advance that brings new insight to a specialised field of research. Submit to Communications Biology, Communications Chemistry or Communications Physics. 举一个例子，NC的要求是： The data is technically sound The paper provides strong evidence for its conclusions The results are novel (we do not consider abstracts and internet preprints to compromise novelty) The manuscript is important to scientists in the specific field In general, to be acceptable, a paper should represent an advance in understanding likely to influence thinking in the field. 再举一个例子，前年新出的Nature Plants（IF=10.3）： The data are technically sound The paper provides strong evidence for its conclusions The results are novel (we do not consider abstracts and internet preprints to compromise novelty) The manuscript is important to researchers in its specific field The paper will be interesting to a general audience of those working in plants research. In general, to be acceptable, a paper should represent an advance in understanding likely to influence thinking in the field. There should be some reason why the work deserves the visibility of publication in Nature Plants rather than a more specialist journal. 其实跟CP相比差不多： The results are novel (we do not consider abstracts and internet preprints to compromise novelty) The paper provides strong evidence for its conclusions The data are technically sound The manuscript is important to scientists in the specific sub-field of physics.
