瑞典林雪平大学thin film职位

研究所最近要招一个博士，thin film方向的，大家可以了解了解linkoping university的thin film组。还算不错。 另外，最近我们的nanostructured material group 也会招一个thermal dynamics 模拟的博士。 两个职位，女生都比较有优先权！ PhD student position in Thin Film Physics Department of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (IFM), University of Linköping, Linköping, Sweden. Job Description We are looking for a Ph student who wants to work with the exciting semiconductor material gallium nitride (GaN) and its alloys with indium and aluminium. There is a huge interest for gallium nitride due to its applications for blue and violet light emitting diodes. The most exciting application of GaN is fabrication of white light emitters with high efficiency and long lifetime which will be used in solid state lightening to replace traditional glow-lamps. Further improvement of the GaN-based devices requires deeper fundamental understanding of defects in the material. Our group has leading competence within optical and structural characterization as well as within epitaxial and bulk growth of GaN. New advantages in fundamental physics together with new applications can be achieved for the low-dimensional structures with size of few nanometers and you will have the opportunity to study such kind of nanostructures in GaN-based materials. You are expecting to work with fabrication and optical and structural characterization of GaN-based nanostructures. Requirements We welcome applications from talented candidates with strong motivation and experimental skills. The applicant has to have a M.S. degree in applied physics or similar.
