Two postdoctoral positions are available in the Chou lab in the Department of Biochemistry at University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT. The position is open immediately, with a flexible start date. The Postdoc will address the major theme in the lab of developing chemical probes for cell signaling and novel therapeutics for human diseases. For more information about our lab, please visit our group page at http://chou.biochem.utah.edu The interested candidate: 1. must hold a PhD in chemical biology or a related field (e.g., biochemistry, pharmacology, genetics, etc.) 2. must have a strong expertise in assay development and cell culture, with a publication record demonstrating independence in research focus 3. must have the ability to communicate clearly in writing, as well as verbally with a diverse set of collaborators 4. must have a strong team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills Candidates please send a letter that describes your scientific interest and research experience, together with your CV, list of publications and the names of three references to Dr. Danny Chou (dchou@biochem.utah.edu) with a subject line states “Postdoc Application”. Salary starts at $47,484 or higher depending on experiences. |
