2009 IEEE International Symposium of Industrial Electronics (IEEE ISIE 2009) will be held at Seoul Olympic Parktel, Seoul, Korea during July 5 ~ 8, 2009. The ISIE 2009 is organized by IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IEEE IES), the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers (SICE), and the Institute of Control, Robotics and Systems (ICROS). Website : http://www.isie2009.org CFP : http://www.isie2009.org/pdf/isie_Cfp.pdf - Important Dates Deadline for Submission of proposals for Tutorials----------- February 28, 2009 Notification of Acceptance -------------------------------- March 31, 2009 Camera-ready Papers and Registration -------------------- April 30, 2009 - Paper Submission The working language of the conference is English. Prospective participants are invited to electronically submit full papers of their work in English (6 pages, ~4500 words, in pdf format). - Special Sessions Special Sessions will normally include 6 papers (at least 5 papers) from different institutions and organizations coming from different countries. Composition of the Special Session, considering final accepted papers, cannot contain more than 25% of papers from the same institution. Also a good balance regarding country contributions should be assured. The session can be organized in several parts, if more than 6 high quality papers (at least 5 papers) are accepted in one special session. - Tutorial and Workshops The conference organizers are soliciting proposals for high quality tutorials and workshops on topics relevant to the conference's main subject areas. All tutorials are expected to be 2 hours long on July 5, 2009. - Student Forum The Industrial Electronics Society Student Forum (IES-SF) is a great opportunity for engineering students and recently graduated engineers to present their research work on Industrial Electronics and related areas. The IES-SF is an activity specially thought for young engineers and its aim is to get in touch with many international students and recently graduated from universities and companies. - Student Scholarship The IES Student Activities Committee offers financial aid for students to attend IEEE ISIE 2009 (Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society). For the 2009 year we have allocated 7 scholarships of $500 each. Accepted papers will be published in an IEEE proceedings volume that will be included in IEEE xplore and indexed by EI Compendex, and available at the time of the conference. Selected papers will be invited for submission to IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics. |
