I under your situation, however we are still experiencing the same issues with editor and reviewer assignments and it is causing a delay in the editorial process. I regret for the inconvenience occurred.

The publisher of Material Science and Engineering C. is working on a quick fix and the journal has now received a new editor and the editor have started working on the pending submissions.

Please expect an update to be made on your manuscript (overall editorial process) in the next 4-5 weeks.

Once again, I apologize for what has happened, I thank for your support shown towards the journal. Please let me know if you have any questions.
