Multiple Tenure-Stream Faculty Positions at the University of Science & Technology Beijing (USTB), China
Donlinks School of Economics & Management
Located in Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China (PRC), the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) was founded in 1952 following the amalgamation of the best departments in related fields of five eminent universities as a result of a nationwide reorganization of the higher education system. With over half a century of remarkable growth, it has developed into one of the most influential key national universities sponsored by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
Founded in 1981, the Donlinks School of Economics & Management (DSEM) offers a full-range of degree programs: the bachelor programs with 6 majors, 11 authorized master’s degree authorized disciplines, and 4 doctoral degree authorized disciplines. The school is also active in the field of international cooperation and communication. Cooperative relationships have been set up with top business schools in the U.S., the U.K., Canada, Germany, etc. International students come from over 50 countries with approximately 400 enrolled. Among 90 faculty members, more than 90% have a Ph.D. and 70% have overseas education and research experience. More importantly, DSEM is accredited by the Association of MBAs and is one of 200 AMBA certified business schools world-wide.
DSEM is searching for qualified, talented individuals from home and abroad in a variety of positions starting Spring 2017. All levels of candidates with research areas listed below are preferred.
1.       Management Science and Engineering: Management Information Systems, Management Science and Engineering, etc.
2.       Business Management: Technical Economics and Management, Organization Behavior, Human Resource Management, Business Strategy Management, Marketing, Finance, etc.
3.       Applied Economics: Economics, Industrial Economics, International Trade and Business, etc.
4.       Other related disciplines in Management Science or Economics.
Qualifications
       Candidates should obtain doctorate degree(s) in the related fields before the starting date of their contract.
       Candidates should be able to communicate and teach in English.
       Candidates for assistant professor should demonstrate the capacity to conduct high quality research.
       Senior level candidates should have a proven track record for excellence both in research and in providing academic leadership.
Successful candidates will be appointed to an appropriate rank based on their qualification and experience.
Remuneration:
       The faculty offers a competitive salary and benefits package (300K to 1 million RMB annually);
       The faculty offers necessary research start-up funds;
       Other work- and/or life-related requests can be discussed in person.
