Dear Dr. Chen, I have now received comments from the referees on your paper - they are attached. You will see that one referee cited a number of desired revisions while the other referee felt that the paper was not suitable for publication in PDST. I believe that the manuscript is not suitable in its present form and must reject it. However, there appears to be a core of good work that could be publishable in Polymer Degradation and Stability if it is expanded and modified along the lines suggested by the reviewers. There is currently enormous pressure on space in PDST, due to the very large increase in submissions in recent years. At the moment we are forced to decline 60-70% of all papers submitted to the Journal in order to avoid unacceptably long publication times. I hope that you will consider some additional experiments and submit a new paper. |
