[求助] Assigning for Review是还没有送审吗？已有3人参与

请问有人投过drug testing and analysis这个杂志吗？我投稿已经三个月了，一直处于Assigning for Review状态，是还没有送审吗？要靠这篇文章毕业呀，请问还有必要再等下去吗？要不要改投其他杂志呀？

You can see in my posts in this forum that I have mentioned the difficulties of journal editors in finding reviewers. For top journals line Nature or Science that is not a problem. But for lower impact factor, it takes longer and longer. Most people do not respond. Others refuse. And other do a "quick" review. Although there are more scientists now than ever, there also more journals than ever. Around 30,000 journals, publishing about 1.5 million articles per year. In a gross estimate, because the rejection rate is quite high, that means journals may receive between 5 to 10 million papers to be published per year, and so around 10 to 30 million reviewers need to be contacted. That's a lot.

So these are just some of the reasons it takes time to publish. But it takes now less time to publish than in the past, when we had to use "snail mail".
