[求助] 文章接受之后的一个问题~！ 已有2人参与

5月底投了一篇文章，今天接收了。然后编辑发来信如下：

P.S.  I would need a high quality color photograph for the cover of the printed and online versions of the issue of the Plant Molecular Biology Reporter in which your paper is to appear.  Please send me one or two candidate high quality color photos to evaluate that might be suitable for the cover image of this issue. The illustration should be relevant to your paper but it must be an extra, different color figure than those to be published in the article itself. However, I will consider color versions of figures that are scheduled to be printed in black and white.

Please submit 1) an electronic file of an image that is 5 5/8 inches (143 mm) wide and 4 1/2 inches (114 mm) high. and 2) a 150−word summary of what the illustration shows should be submitted. The candidate figure must be submitted as a TIFF or JPEG file at a resolution of 300-600 dpi or as a clean hard color copy on photographic paper.

I look forward to evaluating your promptly submitted color image for possible use on the cover of the Reporter.

这是啥意思呢？是需要提交图面做杂志封面的备选吗？但是The illustration should be relevant to your paper but it must be an extra, different color figure than those to be published in the article itself. 就不能用文章中的图片？？？这种图片应该用啥呀？？可以拒绝吗？如何礼貌的拒绝呢？？？？

不是封面 就是文章的简介 让别人看一眼图就大概知道你的文章写的啥 可以把文章中重要的图拼成一个图

我按照您说的。。。去下了一些近期该杂志的其他文章。。没有找到类似的这种简介。
然后现在我更迷茫了。。。。
感谢您提出的拼成一个图的建议，给了我很多思路。就是有点害怕，如果拼成一个图可以吗？不会违背“different color figure than those to be published in the article itself”吧？

抱歉 刚刚没仔细看 现在仔细看了一下 下面那位兄台说得对 好好画个图吧 能做杂志封面还是很好的 我刚刚以为是图文摘要
