[交流] UT Dallas 招聘凝聚态物理博后已有4人参与

One postdoc position in Prof. Bing Lv’s experimental condensed matter physics group at UT Dallas is available immediately. Successful candidates will join the group and focus on the synthesis and characterization of different types of solid state materials. A combination of single crystal growth, solid state synthesis, X-ray diffraction, transport and thermodynamic measurements at low temperature, under high magnetic field /high pressure will be involved in the research.
Applicant should be a PhD in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics or closely related fields working in the superconducting or topological materials in the past. Applicant should have strong background and substantial research experience on low temperature transport/ magnetic and thermal properties measurements through PPMS and MPMS. Candidate with expertise on materials synthesis (especially single crystal growth), X-ray diffraction (both powder and single crystal diffraction), SEM, Raman, and clean room practice will have high priority, but not a necessity (training will be available if needed). Candidate will also have the opportunity to gain experience on neutron diffraction, ARPES, STM, NMR and high magnetic field measurements through collaborations.
