Catalyzed by palladium diacetatea,the primary arylamines reacted with aryl halides to give the secondary arylamines ,which further reacted to form the tertiary arylamines with an excess of aryl halides.

By the catalysis of palladium diacetatea, primary arylamines reacted with aryl halides, giving rise to secondary arylamines which was also subjected to reaction with aryl halide, affording tertiary arylamines.
