motion and deformation of a elastic cell or elastomer

Recently, i conducted a simulation by comsol. I found that it is very easy to converge when the deformation is considered only, where the central point of the elastomer is fixed, i.e. no macroscopic motion. However, when the constraint is removed, the solution process is much slow than the case with constraint. Furthermore, non-convergence occurs when t=0.5s or 1s. I donot know how to address this problem. some advice is needed. Thanks |
