Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong 部門 : Faculty of Management and Hospitality 參考編號 : O/THEi-FMH/PT_RAI(THM)/06/17 The Technological and Higher Education Institute (THEi) offers over 20 innovative degree programmes that are vocationally oriented and developed with significant industry input through three faculties - Faculty of Design and Environment, Faculty of Management and Hospitality, and Faculty of Science and Technology. All the programmes are accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications, and most are also accredited by the relevant professional bodies. At present, seven programmes are in the Government’s Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP), which provides subsidies to students varying from $40,000 to $70,000 per year. In the academic year 2017/18, THEi will move to a new campus in Chai Wan next to the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) campus at Chai Wan. Employment Period: 10 months (to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal) Major Duties: The appointee shall report to the Principal Investigator (PI) of the project on destination marketing and sustainable tourism. He/she is expected to facilitate research works; assist in literature search and review; conduct survey or in-depth interviews, perform data collection and data analysis; consolidate research findings; draft academic papers or reports; and perform other related research duties as assigned by the PI. Requirements: Applicants should have a master’s degree related to tourism and hospitality management, or a recognised degree with relevant work experience; good English writing skills; knowledge in data collection, data analysis, regression analysis, SPSS, Nvivo or other statistical software packages; and be familiar with quantitative and qualitative research approach.
