[交流] 新南威尔士大学最高荣誉Scientia PhD Scholarship （免学费+5W澳币一年）3D打印方向

Two full PhD scholarships (Scientia PhD scholarship) in metal 3D Printing (additive manufacturing)

Two PhD scholarships are available at The University of New South Wales (QS world ranking 49th, Sydney, Australia) in the field of additive manufacturing (3D printing). The detailed information for this scholarship can be find here https://www.2025.unsw.edu.au/apply/

The projects will focus on design of stress-relief strategy in novel metal matrix composites using cutting-edge metal additive manufacturing facilities and also characterisation of the mechanical and functional properties of the fabricated composites using advanced techniques.

The potential student should have relevant background (Bachelor's or Master's degree) in Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering or a closely related field. A good GPA is essential for admission. The student should have IELTS > 6.5 (min 6 in each subject) or TOEFL > 90. Understanding of solidification process and skills of microstructure characterisation using electron microscopy are added advantages.
