前一阵子,申请意大利人的博士后,回信见下面.钱太少了,不知能不能讨价还价?
另外请问postdoc和Research Fellowship到底有什么区别???

Dear Dr.,

first of all, thank you for your wishes and have my best wishes, too,
for a Happy New Year 2009.

Second, given previous contacts, I would like to inform you that on
December 31, 2008, a Call for a Research Fellowship in which you
might be interested has been published by my University. You can find
it attached.

Unfortunately, the Call is in Italian, and I do not think you may be
able to understand it, apart from possible few sentences. Anyway, I
can give you some main information.

1)    The topic is "Nonlinear vibrations of flexible systems".

2)    The duration is 12 months.

3)    The overall amount of money before taxes is 16.138,00 euros.
After taxes, the net monthly amount should be around 1200 euros.
      It is not a big sum, because the cost of accommodation and
life is quite high in Rome.
      So, one should likely share the accommodation with some
other guy, even possibly a Chinese one, as some other people do.
      Of course, you could also try to get some additional money
from any source in your Country.

4)    The selection will be done based on an interview, and the
evaluation of CV and publications. However, if there are foreign
applicants, the interview can be done through telematics or skipped at
all.

5)    The deadline is one month after the Call publication, i.e.
30  january 2009. The Application has to be sent before the deadline
via express mail as a registered letter with notification of receipt
(which means with some time in advance).

Please give a look at the whole matter, as much as you will be able
to understand, and let me know whether you could be interested.

In such a case, I could provide you with some further explanation on
a number of items that must be included in the Application Form
(Allegato A), as well as on the original documents that should be
attached to the Application.

Of course, it is likely that there will be some Italian applicants.
