The laboratory of Professor Zhu is in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at University of North Texas. The student will work on Biochemistry, Cell biology, Molecular biology and Signalling as well as novel biomaterials.
The candidate will benefit from the opportunity to broaden their skill set, mentorship in a diverse research community, experience in mentoring junior researchers, exposure to medical device prototyping, and access to the facilities and faculty of a major research university. A new $20 million BME building is on the way, will be ready to use in 2019.

Applicant must have a BS or MS degree in the field of chemistry, biology, medicine, engineering, etc. Qualified candidates must be able to work independently and in a team, demonstrate outstanding communication skills, have a strong commitment to science, and work well within a group.
