Responsibilities: 1, As a leader of medicinal chemistry to initiate novel, innovative projects and to expand on the existing portfolio of mature projects. 2, Participate and lead the whole process of drug discovery program, including target selection, patent evaluation and busting, discovery stage milestone management and final program objectives such as targeted product profile (TPP). 3, Act as an internal expert from the perspective of medicinal chemistry to evaluate the novelty, creativity, competitiveness and viability of drug discovery program at Simcere Pharmaceutical in an international landscape; Select and lead first-in-class drug discovery program at Simcere. 4，Utilize internal and external medicinal chemistry resources (CROs) to fulfill medicinal chemistry needs at all stages of drug discovery program, to identify hits, to optimize lead compounds, and eventually to select preclinical development candidates. 5, Build and manage a medicinal chemistry group Job Requirements: 1, PhD in organic chemistry or medicinal chemistry or other related subjects and is planning or has already retuned back to China. 2, Eight plus years of working experience in drug discovery at major pharmaceutical/biotech companies or reputable research institutes/universities. Overseas experience is preferred. 3, Experienced in whole drug discovery process from target selection to preclinical candidate selection with a strong expertise in drug design and optimization. Experience with design of prodrug is highly desired. 4, In depth understanding of ADMET parameters and pharmacokinetic principles as well as their application in solving drug discovery problems 5, Able to solve medicinal chemistry problems in drug discovery programs, including difficult chemical synthesis and optimization of lead compounds etc. 6, Experienced in personnel management in various setting such as direct report, CRO or matrix teams, good communication and coordination skills, high sense of responsibility and professionalism. 欢迎投递简历，也欢迎虫友的介绍，一旦录取，有现金奖励 邮箱：yangwei5690836@163.com Wechat：yangaichen8688 |
