近年来,作为环境友好型绿色溶剂的离子液体,已受到世界各国的广泛关注,它在不同的领域都有潜在的应用价值。人们已经开发出多种手性离子液体,它们的应用研究也已经起步。除了开发特殊的功能和应用,降低手性离子液体的成本也是其发展的关键。合成时需要优先考虑的是手性源的选择,使用天然手性源作为起始原料将是获得手性离子液体的发展方向。Lewis酸性的离子液体尤其是A1C13类离子液体的发展较早,应用也较广;相比之下,Bronsted酸性离子液体的合成才刚刚起步。从已有研究可以看到,要开发适于工业应用的酸性离子液体,应充分发挥酸性离子液体类似固体酸和液体酸的优势,还需要进一步提高Bronsted酸性离子液体的酸强度;并发展兼具Lewis和Bronsted酸性的离子液体的合成方法。设计出具有独特物理化学性质的功能化离子液体来适应各种特殊需要将是功能化离子液体未来发展的方向。

In recent years, ionic liquid, an environmentally friendly green solvent, has attracted wide attention, which has potential application value in various fields. So far, many kinds of chiral ionic liquids have been prepared together with the studies of their primary application. In addition to the development of chiral ionic liquids with special function and application, decrease of the cost of preparing them is also key for the development.  Selection of chiral source is the first important factor in the synthesis, and use of naturally occuring chiral source as the starting material will lead to the development of chiral ionic liquid. Lewis acid based ionic liquid, especially A1C13 ionic liquid, has been developed earlier and widely applied; in comparison,  studies on Bronsted ionic liquid has just started. According to the related research, the acidity of  Bronsted ionic liquid need to be increased and the synthetic methods for ionic liquid with the characterisitc of both Lewis and Bronsted acid should be developed, which will be good for its advantage of both solid and liquid acids in industrial application.  Design of function ionic liquid with unique physical and chemical properties will be the promising development orientation.
