About This Job: Syngenta Biotechnology China (SBC) is seeking a highly motivated scientist to be part of its Genome Editing centre, as a member in Editing Target Research Group. This person will be a key member to accomplish research objectives and deliver genome editing traits to crop R&D teams • Providing technical expertise on development of important disease resistant traits in major Syngenta crops using genome editing technologies • Designing and implementing experiments to identify targets and validate the efficacy of edited alleles in lab, greenhouse or field assays • Managing projects and actively interacting with scientists within SBC and other Syngenta business units to ensure critical project milestones are met • Developing and managing research collaborations in China • Maintaining accurate experimental records and performing all activities in compliance with Syngenta quality management and HSE guidelines |
