微生物与免疫学专业，金黄色葡萄球菌优先 Postdoc position (Microbiology and Immunology) A Postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available in the Department of Immunology & Microbial Diseases at Albany Medical College (https://www.amc.edu/research/IMD/IMD-Faculty.cfm). We are looking for a highly motivated, recently graduated PhD in Microbiology, Immunology or related area to study bacteria-host interactions and vaccine development. Currently, the focus of the lab is to investigate Yersinia pestis and Y. pseudotuberculosis pathogenesis, vaccine development and immune responses induced by these vaccines. Also, my lab is extending research direction to emerging bacterial pathogens associated with bacterial multi-drug resistance and bacterial pathogens. Qualifications A PhD in Microbiology and Immunology Background and experience in molecular biology and cell biology, such as recombinant DNA techniques (cloning, mutagenesis, etc), RT-PCR, and maintaining and infecting cells are preferred. Qualifications with bacterial pathogenesis, animal infection and immunological techniques, including flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry; with understanding of T and B cell immunology, inflammation and vaccine development are preferred. Good communication skills with a command of the English language are required. Salary will be paid at $47,476 annually with AMC benefits. To apply, please send a CV to Wei Sun (sunw@mail.amc.edu). |
