PhD Scholarship in Biomaterials & 3D Printing at Queensland University of Technology A PhD position in Biomaterials & three-dimensional (3D) printing is available at the Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation, Queensland University of Technology. The PhD student will work on a 3D printing project jointly funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC) and the Australia-China Centre for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine (ACCTERM). The scholarship for the PhD student has a duration of 3-4 years with annual funding of approximately AUD $26,000 to $30,000 and a waiver of tuition fees. We welcome talented and motivated students with interest in 3D printing, biomaterials, tissue engineering, regenerative medicine and bio-fabrication. Applicants must have a Master’s degree by research (or equivalent) in biomaterials science or related fields. An IELTS score over 6.5 is required if English is not the first language. The candidate's language skills may also be assessed in a personal interview. The candidate will work in an excellent Australian institute supervised by transdisciplinary experts including Professor Yin Xiao at QUT and Adjunct Professor Chengtie Wu from Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
