In each set of sentences (A, B, and C), match each numbered sentence on the left to the correct lettered meaning on the right. This exercise measures your ability to understand smaller differences in meaning between tenses.

d 1. I will find answers when you leave.
a 2. I will be finding answers when you leave.
b 3. I will have found answers when you leave.
c 4. I will have been finding answers when you leave.

a. I look for answers during the time you leave.
b. I start finding answers long before you leave.
c. I find the answers before you leave.
d. I find the answers after you leave.
这道题来自于Communicating with Grammar 3 (Oxfordd University Press 2014) Chapter 2 Exercise 5。答案已经放在各题前面。问题在3，b, 和4，c 。

3. I will have found answers before you leave. 我可能理解不到位，但总觉得说的是 Answers will have been in my mind by the time you leave and I may have answers at any time before you leave. 这样的意思。所以3对应c选项觉得没有问题（恰恰学生也选这个答案）。还有就是3强调的是b这个含义吗？不一定非得是long before you leave吧？

4. I will have been finding answers when you leave. 意思对应b. I start looking for answers long before you leave. (I may probably still be finding anwers after you leave. 这看起来我认为挺符合逻辑。有什么不对吗？也就是说4. I will have been finding answers when you leave能不能表示I start finding answers long before you leave and I will be still finding answers when you leave and I will probabaly still be finding answers after you leave这一含义吗？将来完成进行时难道不可以表示动作持续时间较长吗? 而且进行时虽然可以表示动作刚刚结束，影响还在，但强调的不应该是c I find answers before you leave吧？和加拿大一位资深英语教师（母语英语）讨论了答案，她觉得除了a.b.c.d语法表述有的不合适外（比如a应该用I will be looking for），没提出答案有什么问题。但是我转不过这个弯儿来。希望大家踊跃讨论，不吝赐教。谢谢！
