[交流] Opening for a PhD student position in NUS

I have an opening for a PhD student in NUS. The research topic is on developing new flexible thermoelectric materials and devices. The student will develop new organic thermoelectric materials and to build flexible thermoelectric devices. Looking for talented, dedicated and smart applicants, from either the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Department of Physics, or any relevant departments. Please contact me immediately if you are interested at mpekyk@nus.edu.sg. I need to make a decision within the next few weeks. Only short listed candidates will be contacted, and no further announcement if the position is filled.

IELST and TOEFL are not required, but I will assess your English standard through interviews. It is important that your spoken and written English is acceptable, because everything in NUS (including weekly research meetings) is conducted in English. Chemistry major is OK.

The key is not the name of the major, but what you learned. I need someone with backgrounds in either heat transfer, materials, physics, or maybe chemistry.
