采用DSC的Tzero技术做出精确的比热容测试

Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) has been used for more than thirty years to measure a wide variety of material properties including heat capacity. Although most DSC measurements are simple, fast, accurate and require only a single experiment, the measurement of heat capacity usually requires a minimum of three experiments and provided accuracies typically good to only ± 10 % (1). An improved approach to making DSC measurements, providing a better baseline and more accurate heat flow values, has been developed and implemented in the TA Instruments Q1000 Tzero™ DSC. With the improvement in heat flow accuracy, it is now possible to measure Heat Capacity in a single run with an accuracy typically better than ± 5 %. The technique for making such measurements is described. |
