[交流] 土木工程方向博士生，Research Assistant，Research Associate招聘(多个职位)

Project One: Beam-Column Joints with Chamfers: Strut-and-Tie Models

Recruitment:
One research student with a Master degree for 36 months duration. Studentship will be provided at HK$15,700/month and must have applied for Hong Kong PhD Fellowship. He/she will be responsible for laboratory works to test beam-column joint specimens and numerical studies on perform non-linear analysis.
Qualification:
A good (Hon) degree and a Master degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. Relevant research experience on experimental/numerical works will be an advantage.

Project Two: Advanced Detection of Water Seepage in Buildings (Stage 2)

This research study is Stage 2 of the project on “Advanced Detection of Water Seepage”. Recruitments are related to development of (a) hardware, (b) detection methodology and (c) laboratory and field work. It is for 5 months and extendable.
Recruitment of Research Assistant (RA) and Research Associate (RAsso)
1. Research Assistant up to HK$18,000 per month on (a) with experience on circuit design and system development for wireless sensor networking system; a good honours degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering/Computer Science.
2. Research Assistant up to HK$18,000 per month on (b) with BEng(Hon) in Civil Engineering and experience on vibration measurements will be first considered.
3. Research Associate up to HK$25,000 per month on (b) and (c) with BEng(Hon) in Civil Engineering and relevant experience on vibration measurements and damage detection.

Project Three: Polymer-modified Hybrid Micro-fiber Repair Mortar for Building Applications

Recruitment of Research Assistant (RA) and Research Associate (RAsso)
1. Research Assistant with BEng(Hon) in Civil Engineering and experience on structural testing will be first considered. Term of appointment is 1 year.
2. Research Associate with BEng(Hon) in Civil Engineering and not less than 3 years’ experience structural testing. Term of appointment is 1 year.
