Ph. D. position in SPECT/PET/CT imaging physics

Post specification:
1 Ph. D. student position is available in the Biomedical Imaging Laboratory (BIG, http://www.fst.umac.mo/en/lab/big/website/index.html), Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Macau. Current research projects include (i) multi-pinhole collimator design/implementation for clinical/preclinical SPECT; (ii) respiratory artifact reduction for PET/CT; (iii) internal dosimetry for targeted radionuclide therapy (TRT).
University of Macau is the only public comprehensive university in Macau SAR, which is a rapidly growing city strategically located in the Pearl River Delta region, China. Successful applicant will be provided with a competitive package including tuition support. Overseas exchange opportunities in distinguished institutions are possible for outstanding students.

Requirements:
MSc/MPhil/BSc/BEng in engineering or physics/medical physics related discipline. Good English communication and writing skill is required. Programming experience in Matlab/C/C++ is necessary. Prior research experience in medical imaging is a plus.

條件:
1. 具備醫放、醫工、物理、電機或相關領域的碩士學位
2. 優良的電腦編程能力(Matlab/C/C++/Python)
3. 良好的英文口語和書寫能力
4. 有醫學影像相關的研究經驗與著作優先考慮
5. 有科研的熱誠與上進心(必要條件)

研究內容(任一項, 以學生能力與興趣分配)
1. 減少ECT/CT的運動假影、優化衰減校正
2. Multi-pinhole SPECT collimator design
3. 標靶核素治療的體內劑量學

月薪: 首四月試用期為$6250/月, 往後$12500/月, 口試後$14000/月(免�?,澳門元, 1美元約等於8澳門元)
