You will be supervised by Prof. Ke Zhou (https://www.cs.nott.ac.uk/~pszkz/, https://sites.google.com/site/keadamzhou/). *Topics*: information retrieval, data/text mining, machine learning, user modeling. *Requirements*: - Candidates must have a good Masters Degree (or a BSc Degree with excellent records) in Computer Science or related subjects. - Candidates must be confident in some of these areas: information retrieval, machine learning, statistics, have excellent programming skills, be fluent in English and possess good communication skills. - Previous experience in research and a track record of publications is preferable. *Start date*: 01/10/2017 (negotiable) *Duration*: 3+1 years *Application*: Interested candidates should send a CV, a research proposal and academic transcripts to Prof. Ke Zhou (ke.zhou@nottingham.ac.uk).
