Openings: We are currently seeking brilliant and highly motivated applicants to join the laboratory for Microfluidics and Biosensors for a one-year postdoc appointment in Chungnam National University. (Two-year possible) Main Job: A simulation and experimental work of a microfluidic system that involves both the effect of dean flow and inertial (lift) forces on particles travelling inside a microchannel. The candidate must have a solid background in mechanical engineering (specially in fluid mechanics). An extensive experience in numerical simulations about particle tracing involving different methods (FDTD or FEM) and/or software packages (e.g. COMSOL) with particular emphasis on multi-physics integration is highly desired. The candidate can do own research in other areas with discussion for career development. Good team-working skills in an international environment as well as excellent capability to discuss and communicate results in English are essential prerequisites. Travelling abroad will be part of the research work and could include some period of time spent in a different city/country. The candidate should be highly motivated, strive to achieve best results, and contribute to the advancement of his/her research team program. If interested, please send your CV in english to taeyoon.lee@cnu.ac.kr or zhaofei@amc.seoul.kr. 汉语邮件请发送至zhaofei@amc.seoul.kr Prof. Tae Yoon Lee Department of Technology Education, Chungnam National University Tel: +82-(0)42-821-5696 (Office) / +82-(0)10-7737-7904 (Mobile) Email: taeyoon.lee@cnu.ac.kr / taeyoon816@gmail.com (Personal) EDUCATION: Ph.D. Mechanical Engineering (Minor: Biological Engineering) 2009 Louisiana State University – Baton Rouge, USA B.E.
