Position Title Structure biologist Division Biology Country China Work Location Beijing Company/Legal Entity Global Health Drug Discovery Institute (GHDDI) Functional Area Research & Development Job Type Full Time Employment Type Regular Job Description We are seeking an energetic, highly self-motivated structure biologist to join GHDDI biology department to support tropical diseases drug discovery. Major Responsibilities 1) A person in this role should have in-depth understanding and hands on experience in protein expression, purification in various systems, protein-compound co-crystallography and structure solving. 2) He/she will work closely with computer aided drug design team, provide input for medicinal chemistry. 3) Result driven, strong communication and presentation skill. 4) Establish collaboration both internally and externally, provide technical expertise across functions/teams. Minimum requirements 1) Ph.D. degree in structure biology, drug discovery or membrane protein experience is a plus. 2) The candidate must be highly self-motivated and have good communication skills in English, and work in a collaborative team environment. 4) Scientific integrity is a must, candidate should be professional in maintaining lab notebooks and electronic files. 关于我们 全球健康药物研发中心（北京），Global Health Drug Discovery Institute (GHDDI) 是由清华大学与梅琳达·盖茨基金会在北京市的支持下联合建立的公益性国际合作和研究平台。2016年1月，清华大学校长邱勇与比尔·盖茨在瑞士达沃斯正式签署备忘录合作共建中心，并获得北京市的大力支持。中心于8月在民政局注册成立非盈利机构。未来，GHDDI将用其突出的医药转化能力，结合创新的商业模式，将最新的科学研究与药物生产环节联系起来，通过新药研究与开发应对发展中国家及全球卫生和人类健康的挑战。 我们的员工认同GHDDI的使命，分享共同的愿景，以目标结果为导向，工作专注、积极主动，具有创业精神，能够迅速适应、投入一个快速发展、充满挑战与活力的工作环境。 |
