PhD & Postdoc positions available at University of Colorado Boulder 2017 Dr. Xiaoyun Ding's group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of Colorado Boulder has 3 fully funded positions for Postdoc (x1) and PhD candidates (x2) starting in 2017 fall in the broad area of Biomedical devices, Microfluidics, Lab on Chip, Micro/nano system, Drug Delivery, Cellular Biology, immunology, and Biotechnology. (https://sites.google.com/site/xiaoyunseanding/) We conduct highly multidisciplinary research at the frontiers of science, engineering, and biomedicine, such as Micro/Nano technology, Mechanics, Electronics, Acoustics, Optics, microfluidics, BioMEMS etc. We aim to develop innovative technologies to solve challenging problems in medicine and to improve human health. We take it as responsibility to train future leaders dedicated to excellence. We are recruiting exceptional postdoc and Ph.D. candidates with: 1) Passion and commitment to excellence; 2) Excellent training in research (strong publication record and research experience are highly preferred); 3) Good personality; 4) Ability to collaborate. For Postdoc candidate, related research background in bioMEMS and microfluidics, particularly cell microfluidics, is highly preferred.
