第一篇SCI审稿意见返回，审稿意见的意思有些不懂，求助！ 已有3人参与

大家好，本人在10月17号第一篇SCI投稿，今天才收到审稿意见，大修，给出了以下的意见，前面说是语法问题，后面有三个comments，我对第三点意见没看懂，请大家帮忙看看是指什么意思，我该怎么回复比较得当，小女子拜谢！ The paper is fine technically, as it contains many new experimental measurements on fluorinated thermoplastic polyurethanes. However, the paper is full of awkward sentences and English, especially in sections 2.2, and 3.1 to 3.6! These are related to incorrect English, especially disagreement between verbs/tenses and singular/plural. They should be rectified upon another careful reading of the manuscript. Otherwise, they diminish the value of the manuscript. In addition, the following comments should be taken into account during revision of the manuscript: 1) Section 3.1: The molecular weights and PDI values are not that high; they are typical of what one expects in these situations. The sentences sho uld be modified. 2) Section 3.3: Please do not start the section with a figure; start with text, followed by the figure. 3) The paper is an experimental one, with many experimental data (in Tables and Figures). All these are useful. And yet, there is not one independent replicate shown/reported. This would add more confidence in accepting the results presented and will also give an idea about the underlying error. Please add in the revised version of the manuscript. |
