Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP) Accredited Medical Physics Program within Department of Physics at Louisiana State University is seeking two highly motivated postdoctoral fellows who are expected to work on multiple radiation therapy research projects related to the improvement of outcome of radiation therapy, including treatment planning and delivery, in-vivo patient dose measurements, image registration and analysis, organ motion management, mathematical modeling, Monte Carlo simulation etc. The candidates will obtain CAMPEP accredited post-graduate medical physics training certificates that can prepare them to enter a CAMPEP accredited residency program in medical physics after this postdoctoral research fellowship. The idea candidate should have a Ph.D. in medical physics, physics, engineering, computer science or a related field, with strong physics, mathematics and programming background. Proficiency in C/C++ and MATLAB programming is required. Able to travel, work in a multidisciplinary team and have good English communication skills.
