1.Au-Ag 合金纳米结构在获得更有效的,可重复性的和稳定的上转换发光调制上是一种比较可能的方式相比较与单独的纯金和银纳米结构。首先,由于金和银的电场耦合作用,使 Au-Ag 合金能够实现高的近场放大作用。第二,尽管纯银具有大的消光截面和良好的表面等离子体性质,但是它的化学和结构的不稳定性致使其不能被广泛的利用。而 Au-Ag  合金结构可以很好的把金的高稳定性和银的大的消光截面结合在一起。第三,这种异质结构能够帮助形成岛状结构和阻止颗粒之间的聚集和提高散射和吸收比。

2.一般来说,对于金属表面的场增强效应是随着距离的增加而指数衰减的,最有效的距离或者说最大的电场增强是在合金纳米颗粒表面几纳米的位置。

Compared to Au or Ag nanopartilces, Au-Ag alloyed nanostructures is probably more practical choice as a modifier (????modifier?????????????????) to achieve more efficient, reproducible and stable upper-conversion luminescent. Secondary, although pure Ag has a large extinction cross section and good surface plasmon properties, its chemical and structural instability limits its wide uses. On the other hand, Au-Ag alloyed nanostructures possess the advantages of superior stability of gold  and  large extinction cross section that Ag has. Thirdly, These heterogeneous structure can help  contract island-linke structure and prevent aggregation among particles, therefore increases the ratio between scatter and absorption.

Generally speaking, the field enhancement effect on metal surface decreases exponentially as the distance increases, the most efficient distance or the greatest  field enhancement occurs a few nms from the surface.
