Dear Prof. Rossi: I am very sorry to bother you, but I’m really wish to contact you. My name is Rui SHI, I’m a postgraduate student in North China Electric Power University(NCEPU), my major is condensed matter physics theory. I wish to work with you as a full-time Ph.D. student. Thank you very much for reading this email. When I was a undergraduate student, my major was plant protection, but I had never given up my dream, I tried my best to be a postgraduate student majoring in physics, so, I can promise that I will hardworking for the research because I am really interest in physics and have sufficient mental preparations to cope with any difficulties in the future. In the period of graduate study, my research area is condensed matter theory and my paper has been accepted by 4th annual 2016 International Conference on Material Science and Environmental Engineering. I have read your paper “Microscopic modeling of scattering quantum non-locality in semiconductor nanostructures”, I think the idea in your article is as excellent as density function theory, because the DFT has been used to describe Polyatomic system successfully, so, in my opinion ,the density matrix is also suitable for the Quantum System due to the density matrix include all eigenvalues of all wave functions. The “diagonal limit” is a wonderful via to solve the problem of density matrix elements, the conclusion shows that the time derivative of the spatial carrier density is corresponding to the Gaussian density profile when △z =3.5 nm, when △z→∞, the time variation tend to zero, so, I think you find the critical value about the size for Quantum theory can be used. I am really interest in how to use quantum theory to describe the microstructure. After I read your paper, I think you are very intelligent and I have confidence to learn more knowledge and experiences about the research of quantum theory .
