I regret to inform you that in my opinion this manuscript is not ready for review in JMPG. In general the process sedimentology should be slightly reworked, for example, missing from Table 1 is bedload or traction deposition. If you plan to edit this manuscript then consider these points: the depositional model is not exactly new but it is a good study worthy of publication; the terms cohesive and non-cohesive are more typical than cohesionless; eight pages of rock photographs should probably be reduced by ~50%; "-ing" can be removed from the photograph annotations; and finally, format the manuscript text with wider margins and change the indentation for the references.
