PhD Position (Materials) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln

A Ph.D. Position is available at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Nebraska, US, starting in May 2017. PhD candidate should have a master degree and research experience in one of these fields: alloy/ceramic processing, corrosion, electron microscopy, or irradiation damage. The research will develop advanced materials that can endure extreme environments, such as high temperature, irradiation, and corrosive liquid or gas, in next-generation energy systems. The successful candidate will join in Materials for Extreme Environments Lab at the department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL).
