巴黎第七大学 Prof. Jean Christophe LACROIX 实验室招2017 CSC 博士生 单位:ITODYS: nano electrochemistry 实验室 Prof.Lacroix教授是个专注于科研的老师,平易近人,科研成果较好,每年都有数量可观的文章发表,特别是一区文章。对学生关心倍致,在培养学生上认真负责,一丝不苟,几乎每天都与学生讨论课题进展。在生活方面对学生也很照顾,特别是对于国际留学生更是提供很多无私的帮助。Co-director:Sun Xiaonan 长期从事STM研究,尤其是STM image,在J. Am. Chem. Soc.和Nanotechnology等学术杂志上发表多篇文章。 现在Prof.Lacroix在2017年招收一名公派出国的中国留学生,详情如下: 方向:molecular electronics single/large area molecular junctions 要求: 化学或者物理背景,2017年7月份取得硕士学位,有托福或雅思成绩,CSC(公派)项目留学生 The use of single molecules in molecular electronics aims to miniaturize the electronic devices in size and to optimize the electronics in efficiency. The formation and the conductance measurement of molecular junctions controlled by a single or by few molecules are of great interest in studying their electronic and mechanical properties. An important scientific question lies in the effect of the molecule interactions on the conductance of an assembly of molecules. Can we consider that a molecular junction involving 10 molecules has a conductance ten time that of a molecular junction involving a single molecule. This remain an open question. In this PHD program, various organic and organometallic molecules with effective anchoring groups will be designed attached and organized on conductive surfaces. Scanning Tunneling Microscope (STM) and Scanning Electrochemical Microscope (SECM) will be used to image [1] and build metal-molecule-metal junctions using these molecules. STM-based break junction (BJ) measurements will be performed where STM tip will be controlled to crash on molecule decorating the substrates and to pull-out the metal-molecule-metal junctions. Conductance-vs-extension (I(z)) curves will be extracted while pulling-out the junctions and will allow the measurements of the conductance of a single molecule. [2] In parallel, conductance measurements will also been performed on molecular junctions obtained by SECM junctions and using the same molecule. Molecular junctions controlled by less than 100 molecules can easily be obtained using this technic. [3] Finally, some large area molecular junction, involving several thousands of molecules, will be fabricated. These devices are compatible with today’s electronic industry requirements for mass production and show important electronic functions as rectifiers and memories [4]. Large area, SECM and STM based molecular junctions will then be compared to investigate the effects of molecular interactions on the conductance and to understand how scaling affect electronic function as ratifying and memory behavior.
