3 RA positions 美国 Florida Atlantic University - 微流体，传感器，细胞/材料力学

There are 3 RA positions in our microfluidics group, starting from Spring 2017 and/or Fall 2017. We are looking for highly motivated students with background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering or materials science. The primary goal of our group is to study the interference between cellular biophysical and biomechanical responses, human disease, and drug treatment through the applications of microfluidics, organ-on-a-chips, and biosensing techniques. We are also interested to study mass transport at small scales e.g. water absorption in the polymer composite materials and its coupling with mechanical performance and material aging, using microfluidics, SEM methods. Selected students are required to have: (1) a Master's degree, (2) a GRE score: 145 or higher on the verbal and 150 or higher on the quantitative portions, and (3) a TOEFL score at least 550.
