The B2O3-modified Cu/SiO2 catalysts were prepared by incipient wetness impregnation of Cu/SiO2 precursor with aqueous solutions containing the desired amount of H3BO3 (SCRC). After impregnation, these samples were dried overnight at 80 C and then calcined at 400 C in static air for 4 h.
